Although
there have been an unusual number of longed-for, drought relieving winter storms
in California this winter, they have unfortunately limited our ability to find
a day calm enough to dive the islands. Luckily, this day was calm, clear and
current-free allowing for a dive off the west end of Santa Cruz Island at a
site that can be extremely challenging on most days.
