Colonial salp

Most divers at Kwaj have at one time or another seen the water thick with solitary or colonial non-stinging salps, which float in and out with the tide, often at shallow depths from 10-30ft. Photographing them proved difficult due to their near transparency. Long colonies like this one often reach 30cm or much more but break apart into sections at the slightest touch.
