Triton's trumpet shell - Charonia tritonis

Only rarely do we see a Triton trumpet in the algae patches, but they most likely come up to search for sea stars to eat. This one was about 30cm long and had a very clean shell. He just barely poked his eye stalks out for a quick photo.
