Our most exciting find was in a small patch of Caulerpa bubble algae. Despite having looked closely at this fairly common lagoon algae many, many times, we had never seen this species at Kwajalein before. Related to nudibranchs, it punctures the algae with a single tooth and consumes the fluid inside. At rest the animal measured 15mm but it stretched out to around 25mm.
