Stingray - Himantura fai

We often see large sting rays cruise around the algae flats, but over a 15 minute period at least five individuals of Himantura fai swam by. Seeing that many rays at one time probably indicates a mating situation. This particular ray was probably 3-4 ft across and 6-8ft long including the tail, and was quite an intimidating sight as it swam towards me in the algae.
