Octopus - Octopus cyanea

A small common octopus (O. cyanea) willingly posed for many photos and then commenced to put on an unusual performance of what can only be described as massaging himself by running his long tentacles all over his body several times before moving off and ballooning himself over rocks, hunting for food. We have seen many octopus but never observed this type of display. See the next two photos.
