Crown jelly - Cephea cephea

One of the few places we have observed crown jellyfish has been off Carlson Island. Thanks to a slow moving sea turtle being filmed as it swam up to take a breath of air at the surface, this crown jelly, Cephea cephea, was spotted slowly drifting along in the current. Even these two photos don't do justice to its beauty but it sure made our day. 150mm
