This riotously colored "mustache" triggerfish was guarding an egg mass. This species is known to be quite dangerous to divers. Balistoides virdescens tends to live deeper on ocean side drop-offs at Kwaj whereas this one was nesting in 10 feet of water so its rainbow colors were more apparent. She was not happy with my attention but, thankfully, did not attack. 50cm
