Pomacanthus xanthometapon - Blue faced angelfish

Pohnpei is unusual in having a large population of this distinctive, large angelfish. While Pomacanthus xanthometopon is uncommon in other tropical Pacific areas and has never been recorded at Kwaj, it is common in Pohnpei. This photo was taken at depth so the yellow tones were actually much brighter. This one was probably around 25cm.
