Smallscale scorpionfish - Scorpaenopsis oxycephala

Scorpion fish make for wonderful subjects as they hold still for long periods of time relying on the strategy that if you don't move, you can't be recognized. Scorpion fish are very successful predators, and this Scorpaenopsis oxcephala seemed to be a healthy specimen. 12cm
