Nudibranch - Asteronotus cespitosus

One of the larger nudibranchs found at Kwajalein is Asteronotus cespitosus. This one was nearly 100mm long and one of five that had gathered under a relatively small piece of corrugated aluminum to breed. Many nudibranchs as well as sponges and other marine growth seem to be attracted to the undersides of metal debris.
