Throw-net nudibranch - Melibe engeli

Almost impossible to recognize as a nudibranch, this was actually a large (40mm) Melibe engeli found crawling in the open with its large net-like mouth extended to trap tiny particles of food. Covered with ornate but clear paddles, it is almost indistinguishable from the clear algae abundant in these areas.
