Cleaner shrimp - Lysmata amboinensis

This brightly colored shrimp is a "cleaner shrimp" and lives in small groups in holes and caves inhabited by eels, which do not seem to consider them as food. They will often try to clean the hairs off a diver's hand if you put it close enough, assuming the resident eel is elsewhere. This Lysmata amboinensis had a body length of 35mm
