Egg shell - Ovula ovum

The pure white egg cowry (Ovula ovum) is often mistaken for black sponge when completely covered with its jet black mantle as it feeds on tan soft coral. Rarely found at Kwaj, it is an extremely common species of mollusk in many areas of the Pacific. Certain we would see many more over the next week, I took only a few photos only to find no more. 60mm
