Finger shell - Lambis lambis

The winning disguise on this day was a juvenile Lambis lambis, or common finger shell. This algae covered lump happened to hop in such a way that his bright green foot and eye stalks were noticed only by chance. Luckily the algae grows fast and definitely provides good camouflage during an extremely vulnerable stage. 20mm
