Goldtooth worm - Family Pectinariidae

The empty tusk shaped tubes of this "gold toothed worm" are often found in sandy areas evidently having made a good meal for an unknown predator. This one was especially large at over 10cm. The tubes are impressively made up of small grains of coarse sand very evenly joined together.
