Lance blenny - Aspidodontus dussumieri

The Lance blenny, Aspidontus dussumieri, has two sets of canines that are used for defense, unlike a close relative who use theirs for nipping bits of flesh from unsuspecting fishes. This one feeds mainly on algae and detritus. His overall length was around 35mm.
