Turrid shell - Hemilienardia ocellatus

As difficult to collect as a large grain of sand, this beautiful and extremely tiny turrid has actually been named Hemilienardia ocellatus from specimens equally as small as this one, whose shell was all of 3mm. The photo is a true testament to the amazing quality of high resolution digital camera technology that never ceases to astonish us.
