This was our first sighting of the amazing octopus, Wunderpus photogenicus (what a descriptive name!). An able and clever quick change artist, this species has the ability to "shape shift" into various configurations in an attempt to fool predators and prey alike. Once near his hole, he disappears like jello into a hole in the sand. Perhaps 30cm including tentacles.
