Yellowspotted shrimp goby - Amblyeleotris guttata

Relatively common in oceanside surge channels, Amblyeleotris guttata is a large shrimp goby who often remains still for photos if you approach slowly. As I observed this particular fish, it flared its dorsal and tail fins in response to other gobies nearby, revealing more of its stunningly colored spots. 80mm
