The pygmy angelfish Centropyge heraldi is often seen with gray patches behind the eyes, but this one was completely yellow. A different yellow pygmy species occupies the shallower depths at Kwajalein, leaving the deeper drop-off to C. heraldi. 6cm (2.5")
