It was a good day for octopus. Many small species spend their non-hunting time with tentacles tucked deep within the sand and only heads or eyes sticking out. This one seemed to enjoy some advantage in exposing some his white suckers as well, perhaps trying to look like a sea pen? The exposed portion was just over 2 inches or 5cm.
