Exceptionally cryptic, this little animal is called a "pipehorse" as it resembles both a seahorse and a pipefish. It was found in shallow water with tail wrapped around a few pebbles and matching algae and seemed unfazed as he swung back and forth in the shallow surge. Acentronura breviperula was just over 2 inches long or 50mm.
