Shrimp goby - Amblyeleotris periophthalma

Shrimp goby species abound on the sandy slopes and flats and blend in with their rather dull surroundings. This patient Amblyeleotris periophthalma arched himself over the pair of symbiotic shrimp who were busy bulldozing his burrow to keep it clear while he served as lookout for approaching danger. 2.5 inches or just over 6cm
