A pale colored Distichopora coral. What is probably the same species is a much darker blue-purple color along the southern part of the western side of the atoll then changes to this pale form or sometimes brown and finally to a bright yellow around Legan Island, and the yellow color continues to the northwestern tip of the atoll. There is usually very little overlap of colors in a particular area.
