Egg shell - Ovula ovum

A spectacular pure white shell with jet black mantle, the egg cowry, Ovula ovum, is an uncommon find at Kwajalein although extremely common in other parts of the Indo-Pacific. This shell was large at 3 inches (8cm) and is shown on the soft coral it feeds on.
