Soft coral - Dendronephthya sp.

This species of Dendronephthya soft coral can reach an amazing length (height) of over 3 feet (90cm). A macro lens could capture only a small portion of the delicately pink branches, which were at least 3 inches in width. The branches inflate with water thus expanding to feed when currents pick up.
