Cushion star - Culcita novaeguinea

This is the base of a large cushion seastar, Culcita novaeguinea. It was around 9 inches in diameter (23cm) and made for an attractive photo. These seastars feed on anemones and live coral and seem to favor razor corals, of which there is no shortage.
