Cucumber crab - Lissocarcinus orbicularis

As a result of the relentless westerly winds this year, it appears a number of animals were pushed into the shallows where many presumably perished. A few large cucumbers survived and this one's commensal crab possibly survived by taking refuge in the cucumber's anal opening. The cucumber was over 12 inches in length and the little crab 15-20mm.
