Corallimorphs are large flat disk-like animals that resemble anemones. We have always referred to them as “plate anemones.” When they take in food they curl up from the edges and form a smooth, flattened ball, occasionally forcing out their commensal shrimp as this one has done, probably putting it at great risk. This Corallimorph was around 3 inches (75 mm).
