Electric clam - Ctenoides ales

Most often seen in the back of small caves and crevices, Ctenoides ales is a spectacular bivalve with crimson tentacles and a mantle edged with a reflective lip giving an undulating electric appearance when revealed with a flashlight. This gives it the common name “electric clam.” 3 inches wide (76mm)
