Sea cucumber - Euapta godeffroyi

This particular area was home to a number of young Euapta godeffroyi, a type of sea cucumber that can grow to several feet in length. They are detritus eaters and process sandy surface material with a ring of tentacles around the mouth. This young one was around 3 inches in length. (8cm)
