Nudibranch - Pteraeolidia semperi

Uncommon in the algae is a variation of a species of nudibranch that would almost suggest a different species. This is Pteraeolidia semperi. When found in the algae, it is larger, thicker and brown to tan, which is quite different from the thin, bright blue tentacles of this species when found oceanside. 3 inches - 8cm
