Coral field

These hills of coral were originally another species of coral that appeared to have been engulfed and overtaken by stony, dense coralline algae which was then settled upon by clusters of Acropora coral, making for unusual coral mounds. Each "hill" was over 10-14 ft wide (3-4 m).
