Parasitic slippery shell - Balcis sp.

Balcis are smooth, slippery shells that feed on Echinoderms (sea cucumbers, seastars etc) and although many adhere securely to their host, others like this one, appear to live under rocks where they wait for a host to take shelter. 10mm
