Melibe is a group of strange nudibranchs that catch their prey by extending a large oral hood, fringed with tentacles. They are fascinating to observe when feeding, as they repeatedly "cast" their net as they move along. Our guide directed us to a large clump of coral containing a group of these animals we would never have guessed it contained. This first photo is of the aptly named Melibe coralophilia (the fuzzy dark brown clump).
