Coconut octopus - Amphioctopus marginatus

The coconut octopus is so named for taking advantage of empty coconut shells he holds together to hide in. Our experience has shown that empty sea shells, tin cans, cups and in this case a glass jar make fine substitutes if coconuts are in short supply. The jar was at least 6 inches long.
