This strange worm appears to be related to the "Bobbit worm" but extends what appears to be a mouth surrounded by multiple hollow tubes tipped with thin quills from the sand. We saw only a few, and they were extremely sensitive to anything coming near. The head of quills was 30-40mm wide.
