Another interesting night time find was this Volute laying eggs. Having photographed the egg mass not familiar to me on an earlier dive that same afternoon, we happened to return again to the same area at night when the volute, Cymbiola vespertilio, had emerged from the sand to add more eggs to the cluster and which happily solved my curiosity about the eggs.
