Sea pansy - Renilla reniformis

A sea pansy, Renilla reniformis, covered with small anemone-like feeding polyps. Although related to anemones, it possesses a stem-like polyp underneath that can be extended to anchor itself in the sand. This one was around 3 inches in diameter.
