Worm - Lygdamis sp.

This bizarre Sabellariidae worm species lives in sandy areas, and these are its two opercular lobes in a feeding position . It is a species of Lygdamis and very sensitive to movement, disappearing quickly under the sand when approached. Each lobe is an inch in length (25mm) and covered with fine feeding tentacles.
