Found in the shallows at the end of our night dive was this large spindle shell, Fusinus cf forceps. At nearly 8 inches (20cm) long with its siphon over half the entire length of the shell, its seemingly unwieldy proportions caused me to marvel at the impressive accomplishment required to maneuver itself through the sand.
