This stunning pair of white angler fish, Antennarius striatus, were poised and ready to spawn so I spent nearly my entire dive hoping to photograph the female as she discharged her large ribbon of eggs. The smaller male appeared protective as he stayed close by to fertilize them. Alas, they evidently decided to wait until the paparazzi gave up and left! The species is better known as the "Hairy Frogfish" but this smooth form was seen in a number of areas during this trip. The female was 3 in (76mm).
