During a night dive
two days prior to a new moon at a dive site called Eagle Point at Anilao, Philippines,
a number of polychaete worms, possibly a Nereis species emerged for
spawning and consequently provided a feast for brown tube corals in the area.
Trapping the fast moving, free swimming worms allowed for some interesting close-ups.
The worms were 2-3 inches (50-76mm) or more.
