Prionovolva brevis (Sowerby, 1828)

These were common on Dendronephthya soft corals during our first trip to Anilao in May, 2015. On subsequent trips, they were less common but still present.

Some soft coral dwelling shrimp were investigating this shell that had apparently fallen from the colony. It may have been dead, in which case the shrimp may have been trying to eat the animal.
