These flatworms were all photographed in the vicinity of Anilao, Batangas, Philippines. We are not flatworm experts and positive identification of species and genera often require detailed examination of the internal anatomy, but Newman & Cannon (2003) and Newman & Cannon (CD) were very helpful in guiding identification of these variable and often colorful animals. Much remains to be learned about them, and many species are likely to still be unnamed. Species numbers for unknowns are mostly those used in the Newman & Cannon CD, although new numbers were provided for species we could not find in that publication.
Measurements were not taken in the field and animals were not collected, so any sizes given are usually very rough eyeball estimates often based on distant memories, and are provided only as a general guideline of what to look for.
