Linckia laevigata (Linnaeus, 1758)

The large Linckia laevigata is a common shallow water species found on various reef sites around Anilao. It comes in blue possibly orange-brown forms.

These pinkish to orange ones could be color variations.

Maroon and white mottled benthic ctenophores sometimes ride along.

Feeding tentacles of the ctenophore extend out on the right side.
