Needle cuttlefish

These Acanthosepion species are tentatively identified as A. aculeatum based on the figures in Humann & DeLoach (2010) and on page 93 of Lupše et al (2023). Like many cuttlefish, this species can change color and texture very quickly, and it is possible that multiple species are figured below. These were relatively common at muck sites around Tulamben, Amed, Puri Jati and Gilimanuk.
