Staphylaea staphylaea
(Linnaeus, 1758)
Staphylaea cowry, 15mm
The pair below was observed near Padangbai.
The next two photos show an individual from Batuniti.
On an egg mass at Baturinggit.
The one below was seen under a
rock on the slope at Tulamben, Bali.
This one was found at Melasti.
While the shell looks smooth enough to be Staphylaea
limacina, the mantle looks
more like S. staphylaea.
