Brachysomophis cf crocodilinus Jordan & Snyder, 1904
Snake eel, 120.0cm

We saw this one in sand at Melasti in the Tulamben area. In color it resembles the one we are calling Brachysomophis henshawi but differs in lacking the distinct ridge behind the head. It was suggested elsewhere that these were B. crocodilinus but look sufficiently different from others we have identified as that species to keep the separate for now.
